Can I book with a 50% deposit?

For tours, yes — choose a 50% securing deposit (recommended) or pay the full tour amount at checkout, your choice. Vehicle rentals are paid in full upfront (daily rate × days), plus a separate refundable vehicle security deposit that's returned after inspection on return.

What documents are required to hire a car?

Valid South African driver's license or International Driving Permit (IDP), ID or Passport, and proof of address.

How much km/day is included?

100km/day is included on all rentals, with excess charged at R3.00/km thereafter.

What happens if I need to cancel?

The securing deposit is non-refundable once your dates are locked. If we need to cancel or reschedule on our side (weather, breakdown, safety), you get a full refund excluding the deposit, or an alternative date — see the full Payment & Cancellation Policy for details.

Can I book a tour without renting a car?

Yes — tours and transfers come with your own driver, so there's no self-drive rental involved. Rent a Car and Book a Tour are two separate, independent options.

How do I pay?

Card, Instant EFT, or Mobicred through our secure iKhokha gateway, or direct bank wire transfer. An invoice is generated automatically once your payment is confirmed.
